I Was Featured at Thursday Favorite Things...
I'm so happy and honored that my "Spring Florida Back Porch with Country Charm" post was recently chosen to be featured by Katherine from Katherine's Corner at the Thursday Favorite Things (TFT) Blog Hop. Katherine's theme last week was "Bits of Spring" for her features.
If you don't know Katherine, I hope you'll stop by her blog for a visit. She is a beautiful person with a beautiful smile and is very talented and creative...she has an Etsy Shop where she shares her keepsake creations. Visiting her blog is a real treat, and I know you'll love it as much as I do!
Thank you so much Katherine, for choosing my post to be featured, You really did make my day!
Spring and Summer Decorating in The Sitting Room/Tiny Living Room
I've got all the Easter Decorations in the sitting room put away and have been decorating in there for spring and summertime.....here's how things are looking in there right now....
I love the English Garden Country Vintage Cottage style of decorating.... and I've used elements of nature for this spring....this look can take me right on into summertime....
Most of what I have has been found at yard sales or thrifted....I did make the moss balls using some old tennis balls and bag of moss from Wal-Mart....
The framed bunny print is also one I printed online.....
Our Early Spring Secret Garden Sitting Area and Yard
Today, I'm taking you outside with me to see what's happening out in our sandy yard and secret garden sitting area. I wanted to get outside and see all that's springing up and growing out there, and around the property. I love that all of our trees are wearing their new spring green leaves! It's fun to see what came back to life after the winter season isn't it? Things are slowly but surely coming back to life again in my pots...seeds have begun sprouting out there and new growth is happening...I'm excited that spring is here. It will take some time, but things will grow and flourish again...the hope spring brings and finding simple beauty in nature, is what this post is all about. I think it will be fun to look back at this little garden diary a couple of months from now and see how much things have changed, grown and improved. If you want to see a colorful pink flower show, be sure to see my post where I shared our pink azaleas in full bloom...they were something special!
Until next time... Stay creative and have a beautiful day!
