Our Woodland in Spring 2022...

The woodlands have greened up for springtime... some seedlings have emerged... that I planted at the end of March, and the first rose of spring has arrived too...so I'm documenting the progress and how things are coming along around here this spring 2022.....

Purple spiderwort flowers and blackberry flowers are blooming in the woodline...

The wild ferns have come back to life...
The jasmine vine is coming along and will be blooming soon...
The seeds that I planted are coming up...
Impatience flowers came back in their pots all by themselves...
The morning glory seeds that I planted are tiny, but growing in the pots...that are out in our little bird squirrel and rabbit sanctuary area...that's just outside the sitting room window.
I'll be updating photos of the area again as time goes on..
The gladiolus came up and the first rose of spring showed up this week. It was such a nice surprise!
I could stay outside in the springtime weather all day long.

I so love being outside...out in the beauty of God's creation. It always fills me with wonder and awe...and a grateful heart too.

Until next time ...stay creative!

Harvesting a Few Herbs....

Just harvesting a few herbs this beautiful spring day...
Oregano, lemon thyme, some lemon balm and spearmint..

I'm gonna try my hand at drying these now...I'll let you know how it goes, so stayed tuned for that!

I hope you will look for the beauty in your world and see the many signs in nature of the resurrection power of God. From the trees to the flowers, and even the little flowering weeds...it truly is amazing. Easter, to me, is the story of my risen Savior, Jesus. I am forever grateful for God's free gift of Salvation.....which is available to anyone who calls on the name of Jesus and believes.  I hope you have a beautiful Easter weekend!

Until next time....stay creative!

Azaleas in Full Bloom Spring 2022

Our azaleas are in full bloom April 2022....

Until next time...enjoy all this new season has to offer and stay creative!

Adding a Bunny Picture to the Fireplace Mantel....

With Easter approaching I've added a bunny window cling to a vintage oblong frame and propped it on my fireplace mantel in the sitting room...a faux chocolate bunny adds a fun touch to my spring Easter vignette too! A mini picnic basket and birds nest with flowery eggs are reminders of all that's to come in this warm weather season...
Until next time...keep your hopes up and stay creative!
