September 2022 Wildflowers in the Woods

It's the first week of September, and though it's still very hot outside, I ventured out there.... and I found a couple of nice surprises in our little patch of woods today.  

This time of the year brings with it yellow wildflowers and tiny purple wildflowers...a sign that fall is on it's way in our area...

The wild yellow flowers dot the woods and will be in full bloom soon...

I was happy to find these pretty little purple flowers too...

and these dainty white flowers are so delicate and pretty...

The yellowish green berries on the wild shrubbery will soon be pumpkin orange...I can hardly wait...

and these pretty purple berries have made their yearly appearance, this late summer day.... absolutely beautiful!
