Spring and Easter Decorating Inspiration

This week I've been dreaming of spring and I've been looking for spring and Easter decorating inspiration in my past photo files, here's some ideas I found from past seasons....

I'm feeling inspired not to buy anything new,....I have plenty of things that I've collected over the years that I can use already....so I'll be shopping my home and storage bins for my upcoming spring and Easter decorating. I still have most everything in the photos, except for the stuffed animal bunnies...I ended up giving those to my little grand-daughter and grandson one year, I just couldn't keep them.... after seeing how much joy they brought to their little faces. I'm looking forward to all that comes with the changing of a season. How about you?

Simple Everyday Dining Table Centerpiece February 2022

Today I'm adding a couple of photos of our dining room...

The old rose pitcher held faux winter pine greenery and pinecone picks after Christmas, through the winter and through January. In February, I added the everyday greenery pictured above.... soon I'll bring out a spring/summer flower arrangement.

February 2022 Living Room Snapshots

It's still winter in the south, so I'm keeping things warm and cozy in my home decor....here's a few evening  snapshots of my mid February decor in the living room area with some vignettes and the colors I'm using right now.  This decor could be used year round, but I'll change it up some,  as spring approaches....

I try to take cues from nature when decorating our home.... the camellia flowers are in bloom in our area, so this hanging basket that hangs on the side of my pantry and faces the living room is currently filled with faux ones.....

Birds visit our yard year round, so I like to use birds in our home decor every season of the year....

Today I took a couple of photos in my sitting room of the wall above the fireplace. I've changed things up after finding a set of blue and white plates, a vintage platter, and a lamp at a couple of our favorite indoor flea markets....

Valentine's Decor 2022

Welcome....today I'm sharing a few snippets of some Valentine's Day vignettes in our sitting room....

And a side table vignette in our living room.... that I like to decorate, and change out when the notion strikes me and for the different seasons...

The hearts are some that I made out of burlap and scrap cuttings of vintage embroidered tea towels....

and more fabric hearts I made from an old quilt...the old plate is one my husband picked up recently on one of our thrift store shopping trips....
